I feel like I have a bit of a mish-mosh of things to post about. No continuity, but random events – hence the name of this particular post.

I suppose I’ll start with what we’ve been doing for the past week or two.

Husband took little mister and cousin to see the Braves.

Cousin is 9 and is a HUGE fan of the Braves, and baseball in general. He plays a lot of baseball and is on a traveling team and a few other teams in the Nashville area. Cousin was happy to wear his new Jason Heyward jersey and Atlanta Braves hat.

We started Q man on solids this week. So far he’s had bananas, pears and sweet potatoes. He doesn’t like pears.

Little mister had his first meal at home, in his high chair in a carefully orchestrated event. Q man was in his car seat at our favorite local bar and restaurant, The Albert, because I didn’t feel like cooking dinner that particular evening.

First bite. Not so sure….

A few bites later…Mmmmm, this is delicious! Are those bananas? I love bananas! As I type this I’m having flashbacks to Eddie Murphy RAW pretending to be a homeless person and licking his fingers – was that a Saltine? Was that a Saltine? No?! That was a Ritz?! That was the best da$@ Ritz I ever ate! I know, I know – it’s so wrong but seriously funny!

Other fun things include rolling over

Hanging out with cousins

and Boo Boo

I have a few other projects that I’m working on and am excited to tell you about them soon.

In the meantime, happy sewing.
