Fractal Geometry

I took the boys to the Fernbank Science Center today. I remember going there as a child and I loved it! Sadly the planetarium show was too late in the afternoon for us – I didn’t want to hang out and/or interrupt naps – but we did enjoy our visit. Both boys thought Apollo 6 was way cool!

I was fascinated by something entirely different – the photographs of fractal geometry on the walls. Immediately I saw the opportunity to make some amazing quilts.

All incredible and all wanting me to play with color, shape and design. I’m salivating just thinking about it!
