My sister-in-law is getting married in July. The last time K was home, she dug through her Mom’s closet and came across her Mom’s wedding dress.
Vintage is beautiful, and incorporating vintage into your wedding is super cool. I can’t say what I’m doing, exactly (check back in late July/early August) and I can’t show you. I can give you a sneak peak, though, and tell you it’s her something old, and will be WAY cool!

Winter break this year was eight days instead of six, thank you very much winter storm Pax. We did some fun stuff, but by today the kids and I were pretty much over each other. We met some friends and headed over to the Chattahoochee Nature Center. I’m glad we did. The kids needed the sun, and fun!
We counted three turtles, and some ducks.
And found this awesome tree called the Pawpaw tree. I’m going to have to print a copy and send it to my Dad, who we call PaPa. I think it’ll make him laugh.

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care.
We’ve waited a long time to say that. Now, don’t get me wrong, we loved out townhouse, and never missed a fireplace until we didn’t have one at Christmas. Now we have two. Making up for lost time, I guess.
I always decorate for Christmas the Saturday after Thanksgiving, and this year was no different. Except we’re in a new (to us) house and have a fireplace and mantel to hang our stockings.

I took the boys to the Chattahoochee Nature Center today. We saw all the normal stuff, traded in some rocks and sticks at the trading post but then we went into the butterfly tent. That’s where the magic happened today.

I’ve worked with four amazing neighbors over the last year and a half to bring a new playground to Inman Park. Meetings, fundraisers, grant writing – all for this incredible structure in the center of our neighborhood. I couldn’t be any more proud of our work and accomplishment.
The playground opened on this weekend. We took the kids there on Sunday for some fun.
